Lanthandeln, Nordanå

Only had a quick look, just before closing time, but it sure was neat. Would definitely like to come back for some real 'fika'!

So far this is the best Cafe I found in Skellefteå to spend some quiet time in a natural surroundings with fika! Visited several times and would love to visit again soon!

A very pleasant place! The staff are friendly and welcoming. The coffee is excellent, with a choice of oat milk, lactose-free milk, or regular milk. The homemade cakes are absolutely delicious and definitely worth trying. The café is located in a beautiful, peaceful area – perfect for a relaxing break.

Lovely cute café with small little postcards, souvenirs or eco bio skin care to buy. We had a nice Swedish fika and the cakes were delicious! Prices were good and the surrounding very beautiful and green. Clean and nicely decorated inside. Loved all the small little details in the cafe and inside their bathroom :)

Inside, several small rooms display collections of old household objects from traditional Swedish homes and sepia photographs that capture everyday moments from the town’s history. The atmosphere is intimate and museum-like without being stuffy; it invites both locals and visitors to linger over cake and conversation. Lanthandel originally served as a company store for the workers of Skellefteå Ångsågs Aktiebolag, a detail that adds a layer of local storytelling to the visit. Beyond excellent fika — fresh cakes, ice cream, and a good selection of drinks — the café also offers a small assortment of souvenirs: postcards, replicas of archaeological finds, and other keepsakes perfect for taking a fragment of Nordanå home with you. It’s a sweet, restorative spot for a break while exploring the park or the nearby museum, ideal for anyone who enjoys history lightly steeped into their coffee break. I suggest that after your rest you explore the park and look for the mini artworks hidden in the surroundings, and for some examples check the Streetarts locations next to Exploatoriet on Google Maps. One small, charming place to rest and remember.

Very cosy and traditional café serving great coffee and Swedish pastries and sandwiches. The opening times can be a bit confusing sometimes, but besides that it's a brilliant gem, highly recommended.

Such a lovely experience!! I feel like this is the coziest and quietest place I’ve ever visited. The brownie and the coffee tasted amazing and the waitress was extremely nice. I’d love to come back one day!
